Rules to live by if your confronted by a manager.
1) Comply now, grieve later!
If a manager gives you instruction to do something that you feel violates the contract or company
SOP's, comply with the Manager, if it doesnt cause an unsafe work environment. Notify the Union immediately so we can grieve it.
2) No matter how mad you are, treat your manager with respect.
Insubordinance is a one way ticket to termination. Always speak with a manager in an even, non-confrontational tone.
